We are a member organisation for mountain leaders and trainers. Our goal is to increase the quality and competence of mountain leaders and to ensure a higher status for trained mountain leaders so that they are chosen first by non-profit and commercial parties in the mountains.

The Swedish Mountain Leader Organisation SFLO is a member organisation for mountain leaders and trainers. One of our primary goals is that our members should be chosen primarily by non-profit and commercial parties for activities in the mountains. The Swedish Mountain Leader Organisation is the result of an initiative that has emerged with broad support from virtually all major players in the Swedish mountains. 

Our main tasks and future goals are:

Being able to qualify for International Mountain Leader (IML) through UIMLA.

To provide insurances to our members.

To provide pro purchase deals and other membership benefits to our members.

Visualize approved mountain leaders and trainers with patches and website.

To take care of the reputation of the profession Mountain Leaders and collaborate with other organizations and authorities.
